Still Under Development
Neat Portfolios is still in development. It’s like a ship sitting in one of those massive construction bays before it gets shipped out to the sea: it’s floating on its own, but it won’t be taking the tourists anywhere just yet.
Just know that there are some gaps that will be patched up before wecall “Ready!”, so don’t judge us just yet.
What is Neat Portfolios?
Photographers, architects, print designers, painters, sculptors, models, interior designers — you need a portfolio. They’re out-of-date the moment you publish them, people judge you based on them, and nobody wants to spend time keeping them up to date. It’s all a pain in the ass, but it’s part of the job.
Neat is here to make that job easier, though. You don’t need to pay a designer beaucoup bucks, hire an unreliable developer off Craigslist, and pull your hair out as payment to the gods for you to have a portfolio website that looks good, loads quickly, and impresses potential clients. You don’t need to spend a bunch of cash to do it, either. We’re here to prove that.
How’s it work?
Sparing you from the technical details, Neat is integrated with your Dropbox account to make your life easy. You create folders in Dropbox, Neat turns them into galleries; drop images in those folders and Neat will resize them to all the right dimensions and show them on your portfolio website. After setting up your account you don’t even need to open Chrome/Firefox to update the work in your portfolio.
You should sign up for Neat Portfolios here.
